Flat-fee virtual legal services
Order online, from anywhere. No office visit.
MC Law's flat-fee virtual legal services let you order defined legal work online at a published price, from anywhere, with no office visit. An MC Law attorney drafts the work, you receive it in your account, and the fee on the service page is the fee in your engagement letter.
MC Law is a litigation and transactional law firm with offices in Washington, D.C., and Knoxville, Tennessee. Virtual delivery is one way to work with us. The same attorneys also take on full litigation and transactions.
Four steps, all of them online.
Each service page states the flat fee, what it covers, the scope it is fixed at, the turnaround, and the revision rounds included. There is no hourly estimate to decode.
It takes a few minutes and no card details. Nothing is charged on the site. Answer the questions on the order page, or skip them, order now, and send the details afterward from your account or by email.
We run a conflicts check, usually the same business day. If we cannot act, we tell you right away and nothing is owed. Otherwise you receive an engagement letter stating the scope and the flat fee, and you accept it online.
An MC Law attorney drafts the work within the stated turnaround. You download it from your account and use the included revision rounds. The fee is invoiced against the signed letter.

When a flat fee is not the answer.
A flat fee fits work with a defined end: a contract, a filing, an opinion, a motion, a demand letter. A matter that cannot be scoped up front, such as a lawsuit from complaint through trial, is better run on a phased budget. Tell us what is going on and we will say which applies before you commit to anything.
Outside the United States? Ordering works the same way, and our page for international clients covers what is different.
Frequently asked questions
It is defined legal work, such as a contract, a trademark filing, or a demand letter, sold at a fixed published price and handled remotely. You order online, give us the details online or by email, now or after you order, accept an engagement letter online, and receive the finished work in your account. You never need to visit an office, and the fee does not change as long as the matter stays within the stated scope.

Not for the flat-fee services. Everything from the request to delivery runs online and by email, with a scheduled call by phone or video when one helps. You are welcome to meet us at either office if you prefer.
By email, usually within one business day. We reply by phone only for scheduled calls, so if you would like to talk, tell us and we will set a time.
An MC Law attorney drafts every document. No AI is involved in any of our services. Each service page names the attorney behind the work.

Yes. Much of our work is federal or travels across borders, so our clients are not limited to where our offices are. Where a matter is governed by another state's law we involve local counsel if the rules require it. We advise on U.S. law, and clients outside the United States are welcome: see our page for international clients.
Tell us what it is. Most civil work can be priced flat once the scope is defined, and we quote it in writing before anything starts.
